VASC is located on the 4th floor of Newell-Simon Hall (NSH), which is building number 14 on this campus map.

From the Pittsburgh International Airport

1. Follow 279/376 toward Pittsburgh through the Fort Pitt Tunnel and onto the Fort Pitt Bridge.
2. Once on the bridge, stay in the far right lanes and follow signs for 376 East/Monroeville. This is a sharp right turn at the end of the bridge.
3. Take 376 East to Exit 2A, Forbes Avenue/Oakland.
4. Stay in the right-hand lanes, following Forbes Avenue 1.3 miles through the Oakland business district to campus.
5. After passing the Carnegie Museum (on the right) and a small bridge, the CMU campus will be on the right.
6. One block past Morewood Avenue, turn right into the parking garage (P1 on the campus map).

From the East

1. Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike West to Exit 6, Pittsburgh/Monroeville.
2. Follow 376 West to the Edgewood/Swissvale exit (old exit 9).
3. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Braddock Avenue.
4. Continue to the Forbes Avenue intersection (a playground will be on the left).
5. Turn left onto Forbes Avenue and follow it approximately three miles to campus.
6. At the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Beeler Street, turn left into the parking garage (P1 on the campus map).

From the West/North

1. Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike East to Exit 3, Perry Highway.
2. Follow Interstate 79 South to 279 South (Exit 21).
3. Stay on 279 South toward Pittsburgh.
4. Temporary detour: The Boulevard of the Allies is temporarily closed. Follow the detour signs for 376 Monroeville/Oakland. As you near the city, follow the signs for the Fort Pitt Bridge (left two lanes).
5. The road curves to the right, running parallel to the river then curves left, crossing the river on a double-decker bridge.
6. At the end of the bridge, the road splits. Follow the sign for 376 East - Monroeville (second lane from the right).
7. Travel on the 376 access road, continuing to follow signs for 376 East - Monroeville. The entrance ramp is on the left just after Stanwix Street.
8. Once on 376 East, get in the right lane and take the Forbes Avenue exit (Exit 2A).
9. Stay in the right-hand lanes, following Forbes Avenue 1.3 miles through the Oakland business district to campus.
10. After passing the Carnegie Museum (on the right) and a small bridge, the CMU campus will be on the right.
11. One block past Morewood Avenue, turn right into the parking garage (P1 on the campus map).
